Coaching packages

Race-tested frameworks to suit you

Tour Divide, the mountain races and other races don't just ask more of your legs. They ask things a normal training plan never prepares you for: how to keep moving when your hands stop working properly, how to think clearly on the third short night in a row, how to fix your day when a storm or a bad decision has blown your schedule apart.

That is what these packages are built around. The route intelligence, the durability work, the resupply strategy, the workshops, the planning portal — all come from racing these events first and building the system afterwards. So when the race starts asking those questions, you already know how to answer them.

Billing is monthly

No setup fees or long term tie in. If we are not right for each other, it's better to say so early. But the vetting process will help.

Not sure which plan is right for you?

Happy for a quick chat to see if I am the right coach and which plan will deliver the best for your needs and budget.

How the portal works across the plans

Three phases of preparation

01

Onboarding month 1

Sets up TrainingPeaks, establish and understand training zones, how we work together and getting to know you. Means the first call starts at a higher level and you are orientated to the system.

Everyone gets this

02

Settle in middle months

Training and coaching relationship does the work for everyone. Feedback in Training Peaks for workouts and weekly status. Portal access starts building race prep documentation on certain plans.

Advanced athletes

03

Race focus

Final months before race. Road book, resupply, race-specific planning tasks. Fundamental athletes get wireframe access here. Advanced athletes have been building toward this throughout.

Tour Divide, Mountain Races only

For those not doing Tour Divide or the Mountain races: planning is guided via non-portal wireframes and call discussion for your planning. Attending the group workshops or reviewing the recordings are key to helping you plan.

Understand your journey before you choose a plan

What preparation do you need, end to end?

The plans below aren't meant to be compared side by side like a menu. Most people move through more than one of them, in a sequence that matches where they are in their preparation. Here's how that usually looks.

Route 2

Tour Divide, Mountain Races: 1:1 lighter touch

If you want face to face coach time, start on the 1:1 Fundamental for a custom plan, the workshops and the 1:1 calls every two months.

Journey: 9-12 months
Route 3

Tour Divide, Mountain Races: 1:1 fully supported

If you want everything built around you from day one: 1:1 Advanced gives you monthly calls and a portal that feeds you the right knowledge at the right moment, all the way to the start line.

Journey: 9-12 months
Route 4

Mountain Race: waiting on ballot

Start on Foundation Track while you wait to hear back. If you get in, move to Race Preparation, Fundamental, or Advanced depending on how much support you want. If you don't get in, the fitness and the coaching relationship still carry forward — nothing is wasted.

Journey: 3 month Foundation, 6 month 1:1 coaching
Route 3

Mountain Races: 1:1 coaching

Once your race entry is confirmed you can switch to a 1:1 coaching plan (as described above for Tour Divide)

Journey: 6 months
Route 5

Other races: unconfirmed

Start on the Foundation Track, you can move to 1:1 coaching when you know your race plan.

Journey: 3 month Foundation, 6 month race training
Route 6

Other races: confirmed or just want to start coaching

Choose between the two 1:1 coaching plans.

Journey: 6-9 months before your big day, minimum
A coaching relationship takes time to build, give yourself the time to bed this process in before your big race.

Left your coaching a little late and missed the 6-9 month memo? Do get in touch, I can still help on shorter timelines if I have capacity in my schedule.

Practical questions

How does billing and switching work?

When does billing start?
On the day you sign up. Your first payment covers the first month. Subsequent payments are taken monthly on the same date in advance for each month..

How do I switch plans?
At the end of your current payment cycle. You cancel your existing subscription and sign up for a new one. No pro-rata adjustments.

Are there additional costs?
No. What's listed is what you pay. TrainingPeaks premium is included in all 1:1 coaching and race plans— you need a paid account for the Foundattion (base building) if you would like to move your workouts around.

How do I switch plans?
You can switch new plan at the current payment cycle. You give at least a week's notice to switch existing subscription and sign up for a new one. No pro-rata adjustments.

Are there additional costs?
No. What's listed is what you pay. TrainingPeaks premium is included in all 1:1 coaching and race plans— you need a self-paid account for the Foundation (base building) if you would like to move your workouts around.

What if I don't get a ballot place?
Foundation Track ends at the close of its block. Fitness is yours regardless. You can continue, redirect to another race, or move to Traditional coaching.

What if I get injured?
The coaching continues with plan adaptations for rehab and return to cycling. Unfortunately pausing isn't available. Keep Peta in the loop, she has 2 decades of sports rehab knowledge.

What is your cancelation policy?
One payment cycle - if you need to cancel, let Peta know by call or via email on or before your last payment is made.
